To create a table of contents for your page or article, add different IDs to h1-h6 headlines. This will automatically create anchor links for your table of contents. If you don’t add a specific ID to a headline, the ID will be generated automatically. When there are two or more identical headlines, an automatic numeration is generated, for example: my-headline, my-headline-2, my-headline-3, etc.

Table of Contents block options:

  • Show toggle – you can use or disable the toggle.
  • Default state – define the default state of the table of contents: visible or hidden.
  • Show text – you can change or translate the “show” text.
  • Hide text – you can change or translate the “hide” text.
  • Class – add a custom CSS class to your table of contents.
  • ID – add a custom CSS ID to your table of contents.
  • Style – add an inline CSS style to your table of contents.
